Windjammers Karnov & Friends

There are five games on the Windjammers Karnov & Friends Evercade cartridge. The five games are Windjammers, Karnov, Atomic Runner Chelnov, Vapor Trail Hyper Offence Formation and Rohga Armor Force. This is the 15th cartridge in the arcade series on the Evercade systems. I live streamed all five games on our Twitch channel. The videos will go to our video channels when the time is right.

I remember Windjammers from previous systems. It did not impress me back then, and it does not impress me now. I could never figure out why I would miss the frisbee so often. In fact, the computer seem to be able to dash to the spot, but I would dash the other direction way too often. So I question the controls in this video game.

All of the games on this cartridge are Indie. The graphics and all of them look dated and not the best. I did have some fun with Atomic Runner Chelnov on the Windjammers Karnov & Friends cartridge. This runner was surprisingly fun. I like how I could be at the front screen or the back of the screen and enemies would come from all directions.

Karnov was one of the most annoying games on this cartridge. I died quite frequently and quite often in this game. I also cannot understand why I could not jump up on steps that my character was way above. There is also a shooting aspect to Karnov. This game also felt like an eight bit NES game to me as well. There is nothing wrong with that.

Vapor Trail Hyper Offence Formation felt like the standard top down shooters to me. Surprisingly, I actually enjoyed this shooter. I liked being able to add credits and continue where I last died. Which means if I ever go back to this game, I can easily get to the end. There are some crazy bosses in this game. Rhoda Armor Force is a Mech shooter. Lots of things to destroy. Violent content is a part of these games.
