Uncle Scrooge #467

Uncle Scrooge #467

I am still on the fence concerning this series. The Crosstalk page on the back of the front cover does give me some interesting things to think about. The Uncle Scrooge #467 comic book also has a reboot numbering system of Uncle Scrooge #7. There are forty-four pages of comic book content within Uncle Scrooge #467. That is up two pages from the last issue. Uncle Scrooge #467 cost me $5.99 though.

There is a bit of violent content within Uncle Scrooge #467. There are crooks and criminals that rob characters in Uncle Scrooge #467. The first story in Uncle Scrooge #467 is fourteen pages long. The second, third, fourth, and fifth stories in Uncle Scrooge #467 are all seven pages long each. The final story is two pages long in Uncle Scrooge #467. The first six stories have a theme that connects them.

I promise to include spoilers for the rest of this review. Scrooge comes back to Duckburg to open a bank in Uncle Scrooge #467. Soames Rockerduck has moved in and is building all of these buildings. These criminals are harassing every business but the ones Rockerduck owns. Scrooge goes to the police and then helps the police catch the criminals. Scrooge also helps a reporter in getting the story.

A few of the shorter stories in Uncle Scrooge #467 involve racing. There is a sailboat race to see who can buy the land to the light house. Rockerduck wins thanks to all of these under handed tricks. Scrooge is awarded the land because he stopped to help others. There is a similar choice in an airplane race in Uncle Scrooge #467. Scrooge gets messed over thanks to dirty tricks, but does the right thing in the end.

The final two page story in Uncle Scrooge #467 is about the three nephews. They want some ice cream from Donald. He makes them a deal. If they can get Uncle Scrooge to pay for the ice cream then he will give them some. The nephews help Uncle Scrooge sort his money in this vault. It all fits and the door can be closed. Scrooge agrees to help them the very next day in Uncle Scrooge #467. The nephews get the ice cream they wanted.
