Uncle Scrooge #462
SCORE: 75
I just finished reading the Uncle Scrooge #462 comic book. Uncle
Scrooge #462 also has Uncle Scrooge #2 on it. There is a legacy
numbering system and I am going with that. The cost of the Uncle Scrooge
#462 comic book is $5.99. There are forty pages of comic book content
within Uncle Scrooge #462. I feel like the price is high, but with forty
pages it is a little easier to swallow. I am not sure why go with such a
high price and high page count.
There will be spoilers in my review of the Uncle Scrooge #462 comic
book. I love the Crosstalk page on the back of the front cover. The
inside of the back cover contains the credits page. This is the second
in a three part storyline. I am not sure if this series will continue
after the three issues or not. Part of my hopes it does and part of me
hopes it does not. The price is what really sticks out for me.
The boys are realizing something is not right in Uncle Scrooge #462.
They were investigating and find out that Glomgold is not who he claims
he is. The boys also discover the inner workings under the island. This
island in Uncle Scrooge #462 is actually floating or sailing around the
ocean. It makes it hard for Scrooge and their uncle Donald to find them.
But it will all have to wrap up in the next issue.
Scrooge and Donald are dealing with monkeys and keep stealing things
from them in Uncle Scrooge #462. They find the lost city and start to
investigate in this comic book. Scrooge finds evidence that people have
been hanging out in this area. Donald runs across someone that has
Scrooge's brother all tied up. This bad character ties them all up as
well. Then he makes a call. Can you guess who shows up?
Glomgold appears in the lost city to rub it in Scrooge's face. Glomgold
demands a certain amount of money to ensure he will become and stay the
richest duck in the world. Glomgold also plans on blowing up this city.
Then Glomgold leaves. The three remaining ducks free themselves and
dispose of as much dynamite as they can. The lost city still takes some
damage. Thanks to monkeys the heroes get out of their safely. Now they
need to get the boys.
