Transformers the Movie 40th Anniversary Edition #2
SCORE: 69
I am very disappointed with Transformers the Movie 40th Anniversary
Edition #2. Part of that has to do with I just recently went to the
theater and watched this movie again. The first issue in this three part
series missed some really good lines and parts. Transformers the Movie
40th Anniversary Edition #2 missed even more really good parts and
lines. How did they do that? This comic book cost me $3.99.
There are twenty-three pages of comic book content within Transformers
the Movie 40th Anniversary Edition #2. The credits for Transformers the
Movie 40th Anniversary Edition #2 can be found on the back of the front
cover. There is one advertisements after the comic book content within
Transformers the Movie 40th Anniversary Edition #2. There is also a page
devoted to the covers of the next issue. The back cover contains the
cover gallery.
I promise to include spoilers for the rest of this review. The great
line “Coronation, Starscream? This is bad comedy!” from Galvatron is
not within Transformers the Movie 40th Anniversary Edition #2. Instead
Galvatron explains who he is. What? The funny Dinobots moments getting
on the shuttle and being on the shuttles are not covered in Transformers
the Movie 40th Anniversary Edition #2.
Hot Rod does not repair Kup in Transformers the Movie 40th Anniversary
Edition #2. We do not get the first meeting with Wheelie in Transformers
the Movie 40th Anniversary Edition #2. Racing in the water is not in
Transformers the Movie 40th Anniversary Edition #2. The Universal
Greeting is not in Transformers the Movie 40th Anniversary Edition #2.
The ending of Transformers the Movie 40th Anniversary Edition #2
involves Unicron eating the first moon of Cybertron.
Transformers the Movie 40th Anniversary Edition #2 should have fixed the
missing content. After all we all now know what lines did really well.
Transformers the Movie 40th Anniversary Edition #2 does not reflect
this. I get that Transformers the Movie 40th Anniversary Edition #2 is a
facsimile of the old one. All it does for me is show that they needed to
put some more effort into it.
