The Patriarchs 2 Isaac-Jacob is another comic book I purchased on sale from KingStone Comics for $2.00. I am extremely thankful I had enough money to purchase a copy of this comic book that contains forty pages of comic book content. At times The Patriarchs 2 Isaac-Jacob feels a bit disconnected but it makes me realize that they could publish the entire Holy Bible in comic book format.

I will include spoilers in my review of this comic book. The credits for The Patriarchs 2 Isaac-Jacob can be found on the back of the front cover. There is some mild peril, and violence within The Patriarchs 2 Isaac-Jacob. There are also a few areas where lack of attire may bother some families. The Patriarchs 2 Isaac-Jacob starts with Abraham and Sarah. Sarah dies and Abraham wants to bury her in that land so he purchases some land from the locals.

Abraham also wants a wife for his some Isaac from his own people. Sarah is found and God is working in all of that. The saga of Isaac and his wife Rebekah are covered in The Patriarchs 2 Isaac-Jacob. We then get to Esau and Jacob. I had so many interesting thoughts about Esau and Jacob. These twin brothers were very different. One was a hunter whereas the other one stayed around in the house more.

Jacob tricks his brother to get the first born birthright. Esau was the first born but did not see the value in it. Jacob then deceives his father to get the blessings. Esau is given a different and lesser blessing in The Patriarchs 2 Isaac-Jacob. I wonder how God could approve of Jacob lying and deceiving his own older brother. Although not older by much since they were twins.

Labon deceives Jacob next. Part of me feels like Jacob got what he had coming to him in that regard. Labon makes Jacob marry the older daughter before the younger one. Jacob is in love with the younger one. The older sister does give Jacob more children. So Jacob gave her some time and attention. The Patriarchs 2 Isaac-Jacob does not stick on this as much as I notice things. Jacob winds up becoming Isreal after wrestling with God.

What happened to Dinah is also covered in The Patriarchs 2 Isaac-Jacob. This comic book ends with where the brothers Jacob and Esau wind up settling down. The Patriarchs 2 Isaac-Jacob made me realize how much deception went on back in the day. We have plenty that goes on in this day and age as well. Humans never seem to learn the lessons the Holy Bible teaches us.
