The Patriarchs 1 Abraham
SCORE: 92
I am so glad that I had the money to purchase a copy of The
Patriarchs 1 Abraham comic book. This comic book was on sale and cost me
$2.00. That is really cheap for forty-two pages of comic book content. I
am very pleased with this purchase. Like other Kingstone Comics this one
contains Bible verses at the bottom of many of the pages.
There are plenty of things from the life of Abraham that are covered in
The Patriarchs 1 Abraham. If you know the Bible then there will not be
spoilers in my review. If you do not know the Bible then this is my
spoiler warning. The Patriarchs 1 Abraham starts a few years after Noah
and the flood. The Patriarchs 1 Abraham goes over Abraham’s father,
brothers, and his half sister and wife Sarah.
There are some lack of attire issues here and there within The
Patriarchs 1 Abraham. False gods are also referenced in The Patriarchs 1
Abraham. The one true God is also shown as interacting with Abraham
multiple times in this comic book. We also run into some angels that
come at different times in The Patriarchs 1 Abraham.
There are multiple times where Abraham goes into foreign nations and is
scared for his life. They find his wife very beautiful so Abraham says
she is his sister. Abraham is accused of lying as these rulers are
punished for taking Sarah as their wife. He told them the truth just not
all of the truth in The Patriarchs 1 Abraham. This is explained in this
comic book.
Hagar and her son are shown in The Patriarchs 1 Abraham. We get the
destruction of Sodom and Gomorra in The Patriarchs 1 Abraham. The birth
of Isaac is also a part of The Patriarchs 1 Abraham. The final part of
The Patriarchs 1 Abraham Is when Abraham takes Isaac up to be
sacrificed. God tested Abraham and he did not need to sacrifice Isaac.
Great art and wonderful history in this comic book.
