The Muppets Noir #3

I realized something after I read through The Muppets Noir #3 comic
book. I am really glad there is only one more issue in this series. At
this point in reading this series I am beginning to question what the
point is. I also wonder how intelligent Flip Minnow actually is. The
Muppets Noir #3 cost me $4.99. There are twenty-two pages of comic book
content within The Muppets Noir #3. The humor in The Muppets Noir #3 did
not reach me like previous issues.
There is a page devoted to the next issue which points out this series
will wind up in the next issue. There are some ads, and the cover
gallery in the back of The Muppets Noir #3. I give you my word that rest
of this review will include spoilers. The Muppets Noir #3 starts like
the other issues. We see the normal characters dealing with Kermit's
condition. A doctor is called and it is typical Muppet madness. Nothing
helpful to Kermit though.
From there we are brought into the more black and white noir world where
Kermit believes he is the private detective Flip Minnow. There is a
delivery for Flip Minnow in The Muppets Noir #3. At first the mail man
does not want to give it without proper identification. But the
secretary talks him into it in The Muppets Noir #3. They are concerned
it might be something bad. The box is opened to find the diary of
Meringue Crustworth.
There is a privacy concern at first, but the point is to find her. There
are these different dates, places and times in the diary. Flip Minnow
decides to check those locations and times out. There does not seem to
be much of interest at first glance though. Flip does discover some
interesting things in The Muppets Noir #3. There were fish that drove a
car into the bay. There is a cafe with a band. Flip has another
interaction with a pie in The Muppets Noir #3.
The last entry in The Muppets Noir #3 is for a bookstore at night. Flip
shows up and talks to the nice young lady. Flip comes to a discovery in
The Muppets Noir #3. He pulls the wig and glasses off the female pig
character. Flip finally figures out that the woman he is looking for has
been wearing disguises. Flip does not know why Meringue is doing all
these different jobs in disguise.
