The Maxx The Complete Series
SCORE: 48
The Maxx The Complete Series comes from 1995. I knew there was a
comic book on this content, but did not remember there was a television
show, let alone on MTV. There are thirteen episodes that make up The
Maxx The Complete Series. It takes one hundred and seventy-eight minutes
to watch The Maxx The Complete Series from start to finish. I can see
why this television show was not renewed for a second season.
Expect plenty of spoilers in the rest of this review. The art in The
Maxx The Complete Series is horrible. There are different things that
are done but the art goes along with the depressing theme. The issues
families can have with The Maxx The Complete Series are violence, blood,
gore, lack of attire, enticement to lust, false gods, bad language,
magic, and more. There are attacks on the system God put in place, and
men in particular. I could see The Maxx The Complete Series fitting
under the war on men umbrella.
There is talk in The Maxx The Complete Series of a spirit animal. There
are two worlds that the characters are in. They are in different roles
in these two worlds. For example Maxx is the hero in one and a homeless
man in another. Julie is a social worker in one, and a jungle queen
dependent on Maxx in another. There are these white blob like characters
with teeth and black ones.
The Maxx The Complete Series feels pointless. There are so many
different things that could be going on in The Maxx The Complete Series.
There are references to bad things that happened to Julie in The Maxx
The Complete Series. Mr. Gone is the main bad guy in The Maxx The
Complete Series. Julie knocks off the head of Mr. Gone in multiple
worlds in The Maxx The Complete Series. That does not kill him though.
The end of The Maxx The Complete Series has Julie leaving and there is
some concern the entire world will end because it is her fantasy or
dream. There was a story about a dead rabbit that this little girl
found, and Maxx being a rabbit under the mask. Some things sort of
connect, but other characters say they do not connect. It took me two
nights to watch all of The Maxx The Complete Series. It was under the
MTV Oddities umbrella. It fit well there.
