The Judges 4

The more I do these the more I get into them. The Judges 4 cover two very important people in the Holy Bible. Well one of them is completely covered and the other one we get a very good beginning. I will explain more in this review. The Judges 4 comic book cost me $2.00. The first story in The Judges 4 contains sixteen pages. The second story contains fifteen pages. There is an editor's desk like page discussing both historical figures between the two stories.

The credits in The Judges 4 can be found on the back of the front cover. There is some violence and mild blood within The Judges 4. I give you my word that the rest of this review will contains spoilers. There are Bible verses on the bottoms of many of the pages within The Judges 4. The first story in The Judges 4 is about Naomi and Ruth. Things go really bad for Naomi in Moab. She even tells her daughter in laws to leave her.

Ruth refuses to leave Naomi. Instead Ruth goes out and gleans the wheat. Ruth catches the eye of Boaz. I find it interesting that Boaz is impressed that Ruth is helping Noami. Naomi sees an opportunity there and goes after it. Boaz can redeem Naomi and get her land. He must also take Ruth as his wife. There is another man closer in relations and he has the right to redeem the land and take Ruth as his wife.

Boaz goes in front of the elders and gives all of the information. At first the other relative wants to take the land, but when he must take the wife and her children will inherent the land he decides to step away from the deal. Boaz winds up marrying Ruth and they have a son. This lineage will bring us to King David and eventually Jesus Christ. I like how The Judges 4 shows that on the last page of the first story.

The second story in The Judges 4 is about the conception and birth of Samuel. We learn about the evil the current priests are doing. God is with Samuel in The Judges 4. God chose Samuel and Samuel is very obedient. There is plenty more of Samuel's life, but I do not know if it will be covered. Samuel was also the last judge that Israel had. After this there will be a line of kings. Some good, but many of them bad.
