The Judges 3

I was beside myself in excitement to read and review The Judges 3. This comic book cost me two dollars, and it contains fifty-four pages of content. The last page in The Judges 3 is sort of an editor's desk reflection on this part of the Holy Bible. Bible verses can be found on the bottom of the pages in The Judges 3. The Judges 3 starts with a bit of a recap as to what has been happening thus far in the Holy Bible.

I give you my word that I will include spoilers for the rest of this review. We learn about Samson in The Judges 3. The issues families can have with The Judges 3 are violence, blood, lack of attire, enticement to lust, and more. The cool part about The Judges 3 is there is more than just Samson. I will get into that in just a little bit. We learn about the angel of the Lord that came to Samson's parents in The Judges 3.

I always thought of Samson as a muscle head that was not very bright. The Judges 3 portrays him a little bit differently. Samson was being disobedient to God and the commands the Israelites were given. Samson kept lusting after the Philistine women in The Judges 3. Samson did not seem to learn that he could not trust them. In fact there is a theme of not trusting pagan women in The Judges 3.

The different exploits of Samson are covered in The Judges 3. Like when he killed the lion, and later found honey in it. He should not have touched that carcass. Philistine women were threatened or bribed to betray Samson in The Judges 3. Samson exacted his revenge on the Philistines again and again in The Judges 3. Samson eventually has his hair cut and loses his powers. He does kill many Philistines by bringing the whole building down. He dies in the process.

The Judges 3 then takes us on a couple of different journeys. We find out about priests selling their services. We learn about the evil from the tribe of Dan. There is a horrible, ugly, rude, hateful, and evil moment where these men want to get ahold of some men visiting. A concubine is given to them instead. They abuse her badly. The priest cuts her into twelve pieces and sends her body parts to the tribes. Then the few remaining men are allowed to abduct virgins to be their wives.
