The Greatest American Hero #1

I vaguely remember the television show The Greatest American Hero. I saw there was a comic book series and decided to check it out. The Greatest American Hero #1 cost me $4.99. There are twenty-nine pages within The Greatest American Hero #1. The credits are on the back of the front cover. There are some advertisements and the next issue pages after the comic book content within The Greatest American Hero #1.

The issues families can have with The Greatest American Hero #1 are violence, lack of attire, enticement to lust, bad language and more. I give you my word that the rest of this review will contain spoilers. I will be completely blunt with ya'll. I have not seen this show in decades. I need to add this show to my wanted listing at some point. The main hero is much older in The Greatest American Hero #1.

I did some research on this comic book series and it sounds like this will be a swan song for this character. Ralph Hinkley is known as the crazy man in the red pajamas. He is dropped off by what looks like aliens or humans from the future. He gets a car created from the dirt, and goes off to save the world. He only has seven days to do this. We meet his son in The Greatest American Hero #1. And his grand daughter.

His son is running some kind of a gambling ring, scam thing at this swap meet like place. He is trying to reconnect with his son in The Greatest American Hero #1. His son wants nothing to do with him in The Greatest American Hero #1. There is a cup about the world's greatest dad that gets broken and the son drives over it and gets a flat tire in The Greatest American Hero #1. This is an opportunity for the hero.

He takes off his clothes and has the suit on underneath. He obviously never learned how to use the suit since he cannot lift the truck to prove his powers. He does learn how to teleport in The Greatest American Hero #1. The grand daughter winds up in danger in The Greatest American Hero #1. She winds up almost getting hit by a truck. The older hero teleports in to the way and the truck breaks around him. He does have powers.
