The Fall
SCORE: 77
I need to admit something to all ya'll. This is the part of the Holy
Bible that can be difficult to read through. The Israelites are facing
the just punishment for their disobedience. At times the righteous must
have wondered how long God was going to accept such horrible behavior
from His people. How could they disobey him so openly again and again?
The Fall comic book cost me $2.00. there are fifty-two pages of comic
book content within The Fall.
How come Kingdome Comics can do a comic book like The Fall but Marvel,
DC Comics, IDW Publishing, Image, and other worldly comic books cost so
much more for so much less content? The issues families can have with
The Fall are violence, blood, gore, false gods, and more. There are good
and evil kings in The Fall. Jehu is one of the good ones in The Fall.
The thing is even some of the good kings did bad things as well.
Followers of Baal are taken out in The Fall. I am baffled that there
were so many worshippers of the false god Baal. It happened again and
again in Israel. That reminds me that there are Bible verses on the
bottom of the pages of The Fall comic book. Spoilers will be a part of
this review. Uzziah is a good example of power going to one's head. He
messed up when he received power. It happens in our time as well.
Prophets like Isaiah are covered in The Fall. The death of Elisha is
also covered in The Fall. In fact the historical accounting of a dead
man being put next to the bones of Elisha is also covered. That man is
brought back to life instantly. God's power is amazing and astounding in
The Fall. Prophets tell the leaders what God has to say again and again
in The Fall. Some listened and some even made requests.
I really enjoyed the story of Hezekiah in The Fall. He fell ill and the
prophet Isaiah told him he would die. Hezekiah prayed to God about the
good he had done. God gave him fifteen more years. This is also the
eventual transition of Babylon conquering Israel and bring the people
back with them to their land. This is in essence the fall we are all
aware of from history. It is a deeply saddening time of that nation.
