The Chosen Season 5

I am very thankful I was able to watch and now review The Chosen Season 5 on Amazon Prime. The main focus of The Chosen Season 5 is the Last Supper. By the way there will be spoilers in my review of The Chosen Season 5. There is a bit of violence and blood in The Chosen Season 5. We also see the dry bones from Ezekiel. More on that in a little bit. The Chosen Season 5 starts with the triumphant return of Jesus Christ to Jerusalem.

There are some extremely powerful scenes within The Chosen Season 5. First and foremost the money changers tables being turned over. The Chosen Season 5 makes perfect sense in terms of how the different entities would react to that event. What is interesting is how The Chosen Season 5 claims Jesus was on the side of Rome with the taxes. Jesus said to give under Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God what is God’s. The Chosen Season 5 makes Jesus pro Roman taxes.

The Pharisees have quite the debate in The Chosen Season 5. The majority and certainly the ruler Calaphas. It is interesting how The Chosen Season 5 tells us the father in law is actually pulling the strings. True? I have no idea. It is an interesting idea. Most of the eight episodes of The Chosen Season 5 start out with a part of the Last Supper. Eventually the main storyline catches up. The Chosen Season 5 hops us around in time.

The praying in the garden of Gethsemane contains visions that are very interesting. Jesus sees Abraham and Isaac in The Chosen Season 5. Jesus also meets with Ezekiel in the vision of the dry bones. The episodes in The Chosen Season 5 last between forty-seven and sixty-seven minutes. Many of the disciples have interesting flashbacks as to when they first joined Jesus in The Chosen Season 5. I love the back story for the different characters.

There are people trying to save the life of Jesus in The Chosen Season 5. They do not understand why he keeps antagonizing the Pharisees. I can completely understand it. I do the same thing in this day and age to those judgmental leaders that demand everyone act a certain way or say a certain thing. It is part of how the Holy Spirit changes us. We are designed to speak out against their evil that keeps people from God.

The Chosen Season 5 ends with Judas kissing Jesus as part of the betrayal. The good news is there will be a season six of this television show. The bad news is we will have to wait a bit to be able to watch it. My research also discovered that season seven will be the last season of the show. I am very interested in watching this show to completion. The Chosen Season 5 is a good show for families.
