The Bad Guys 2

Another movie night and another interesting movie to watch and then
review. The Bad Guys 2 is one hour and forty-four minutes long. This
animated film is the sequel to the original The Bad Guys movie. The Bad
Guys 2 contains a bit worse content than the first. Some if makes no
sense to me. The issues families can have with The Bad Guys 2 are
violence, crude humor, bad language, and more. There are also some
awkward scenes in The Bad Guys 2. I will get into that in just a little
bit.
A major important announcement is coming next. The rest of this review
will contain and include spoilers. The Bad Guys are having issues
getting a job. They have gone straight but no one wants to hire them.
There is plenty of humor in The Bad Guys 2. For example the Wolf
character goes to a bank for a job. He robbed that particular bank three
times. The whole car scene in the beginning of The Bad Guys 2 is back
when they were criminals. It explains where the car came from.
The Bad Girls are committing crimes in The Bad Guys 2. The Bad Girls are
making it look like it was The Bad Guys doing the crimes. The Bad Guys
help the police in solving the crime. They then go to a professional
wrestling event where they are trying to stop the real thieves from
stealing the belt. Why do they want the belt? They want it for the
MacGuffinite metal that is in it. MacGuffinite can be charged
electrically and attract gold.
The Bad Girls have a plan to steal a rocket ship, flying to the space
station, and collect all of the gold from Earth. The identity of the
governor is also on the line in The Bad Guys 2. The Bad Guys go up into
space and stop The Bad Girls from their plan in The Bad Guys 2. Then
they must all come crashing back down to Earth. The Bad Guys are shown
as dead near the end of The Bad Guys 2. That is so they can be made in
secret agents.
For me this feels just like Despicable Me. The major bad guy because a
good guy, and then becomes a secret agent. Dreamworks Animation is not
being very original here. They are following the same plot lines of one
of their other franchises. They could have been celebrated as heroes,
and being given the key to the city. Maybe they have all kinds of
different job offers. The Little Lies and Alibis short is really funny
in The Bad Guys 2.
