The closer we get to issue #1000 the more excited I become. That is
the only reason I am reading this particular series right now. I would
have dropped this series some issues ago. Which also means unless The
Amazing Spider-Man turns it around real quick I will be dropping it not
long after the one thousandth issue. The Amazing Spider-Man #991 cost me
$4.99. There are twenty pages of comic book content within The Amazing
Spider-Man #991.
The reboot numbering system shows The Amazing Spider-Man #991 as The
Amazing Spider-Man #27. There are three pages of comic book content and
then two intro/credits pages within The Amazing Spider-Man #991.
Advertisements can be found throughout this comic book. There are two
pages of devoted to letters in The Amazing Spider-Man #991. There is
also a page devoted to the next issue.
The issues families can have with The Amazing Spider-Man #991 are
violence, blood, lack of attire, enticement to lust, murder and more. I
give all ya’ll my word that the rest of this review will contains
spoilers. Carnage has merged with Peter Parker in The Amazing Spider-Man
#991. Peter is trying to get some control of Carnage and not doing that
great.
The two aunts are trying to escape from Torment in The Amazing
Spider-Man #991. Carnage rips off the the shocker device that can hurt
Symbiotes in this comic book. Peter tries to show Carnage the power of
hope, and love in The Amazing Spider-Man #991. MJ/Venom work on helping
Peter in The Amazing Spider-Man #991 as well. The aunts are saved and
Venom kills Torment. Then lied about it.
The epilogue of The Amazing Spider-Man #991 is mildly interesting.
Mister Crane wants to get a genetic screening. I think this is the man
that was referred to as the cousin of Spider-Man previously in this
storyline. I have a small interest in learning about this. Hopefully it
winds up happening soon. Torment turned out to be very insane at the end
of The Amazing Spider-Man #991.
