I am going crazy with these facsimile comic books. I almost wonder if
I should look for the old retro versions of these comic books. Probably
ones that are not in great condition so they will not cost me an arm and
a leg. This facsimile is The Amazing Spider-Man #129. As far as I can
tell The Amazing Spider-Man #129 is the first appearance of The
Punisher. He looks really different in The Amazing Spider-Man #129 as
well.
The Amazing Spider-Man #129 comes to us from 1963. Yeah that was a few
decades back. The facsimile of The Amazing Spider-Man #129 cost me
$4.99. All of those old advertisements can be found here and there
within The Amazing Spider-Man #129. There are nineteen pages of comic
book content within The Amazing Spider-Man #129. There is a Spider's Web
page in The Amazing Spider-Man #129. There are plenty of references to
things that happened in other Spider-Man comic books in this one.
I vow this very important oath - I will include spoilers for the rest of
this review. There is some violence, lack of attire, and enticement to
lust issues within The Amazing Spider-Man #129. The Jackal has hired The
Punisher to kill Spider-Man in The Amazing Spider-Man #129. J. Jonah
Jameson ran articles that Spider-Man killed the Green Goblin. Spidey is
not coming public to correct the record because of his secret identity.
These criminals think that Spider-Man is a criminal like them. So they
think he wants his cut while they are making a robbery. Spidey clears
their heads of that bad idea in The Amazing Spider-Man #129. Peter
Parker shows up to his job to sell some pictures only to find out they
want pictures of The Punisher. Another rag beat them to the punch on The
Punisher. Guess who shows up to attack Spider-Man next?
Yes The Punisher does. Spidey is winning until The Jackal slices him in
the back of his head. The Punisher is not happy that The Jackal lets
Spider-Man fall to his death. The Jackal then tries to frame The
Punisher in The Amazing Spider-Man #129. Spidey shows up to help out The
Punisher at this point. The Punisher and Spider-Man get away from the
crime scene before the police show up. The Jackal swears to get
Spider-Man.
