Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Saturday Morning Adventures #39
SCORE: 69
As the money has gotten tighter and less recently I find myself
questioning certain purchases. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Saturday
Morning Adventures #39 is a great example of this. I have been back and
forth on this franchise. Part of me wants to keep reading it because it
is generally more family friendly than a lot of the comic books out
there. Part of me does not like the $4.99 price tag for twenty pages of
comic book content.
The credits for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Saturday Morning Adventures
#39 can be found on the back of the front cover. After the comic book
content is a page devoted to the next issue. Then we get the alternate
covers and some advertisements. The IDW View from the Back Page is about
Hello Kitty, Sonic and Godzilla. There is some violence and humor within
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Saturday Morning Adventures #39.
Spoilers will be a part of the rest of this review. Scumbug captured
April and the Turtles are coming in quiet to rescue her. They realize it
will be a trap. They meet another mutant - Worm. Can you guess what Worm
can do in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Saturday Morning Adventures #39?
He can suck the lifeforce energy out of other beings. Mutants taste the
best to Worm in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Saturday Morning Adventures
#39.
The Turtles rescue April and make a hasty retreat. The Turtles put a
tracking device on Worm. Worms finds it and realizes it will draw them
back to him. Two Turtles are injured and stay back. The other two get
aid from Muckman and Joe Eyeball. Worm is sensitive to strong smells in
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Saturday Morning Adventures #39. Muckman
stinks and helps the Turtles capture Worm.
The scientist in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Saturday Morning
Adventures #39 helps the injured Turtles get their life force back in
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Saturday Morning Adventures #39. Then they
find out that Worm is totally on ice until science can find a solution
to his needing to be a Dracula. Did I really need to spend five dollars
for what Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Saturday Morning Adventures #39
gave me?
