Teen Titans Go #10
SCORE: 80
I am really surprised to see Teen Titans Go made it to double digits.
I never know what these companies are thinking when they keep some
series going and cancel others. It has been an up and down experience
with this franchise thus far. Two more issues and they hit one year. The
cost of the Teen Titans Go #10 comic book was $2.99. This comic book
contains twenty pages of comic book content. How can some comic books
with twenty pages sell for $2.99 and others sell for $3.99 or $4.99?
Teen Titans Go #10 is the Christmas issue. There are multiple references
to Christmas in Teen Titans Go #10. There is no reference to Jesus
Christ though. The whole singing songs about birds made no sense to me.
I have zero clue what they are referencing. There is a seven page
preview in Teen Titans Go #10 for DC's Misfits of Magic. I will
definitely not be purchasing that comic book or graphic novel.
Spoilers will be a part of this review going forward. The Teen Titans
are going over to the home of the Doom Patrol for Christmas. The Teen
Titans find out that Madame Rogue always comes over and messes up their
Christmas. So you can guess what the Teen Titans wind up doing in Teen
Titans Go #10? They get ultra paranoid and think everything or everyone
is Madame Rogue trying to mess up Christmas. Can you guess the end
result?
If you guessed the Teen Titans mess up Christmas then you are right.
They heard a ticking in a present and thought it was a bomb. The Teen
Titans opened all the presents and made a mess in Teen Titans Go #10. A
food fight winds up happening in Teen Titans Go #10. There is a bit of
cartoon violence within Teen Titans Go #10. The humor in Teen Titans Go
#10 will definitely reach kids. Hopefully they do not want to emulate
what happens in this comic book.
Madame Rogue eventually reveals herself in Teen Titans Go #10. She gets
caught and will go back to jail. She tells the heroes in Teen Titans Go
#10 that she will think up new ways to mess up Christmas next year. I do
not get it. Why try and destroy Christmas for others? What is that
person's problem? I understand that different families celebrate
Christmas different ways. I live and let live. Merry Christmas.
