Taito Arcade 3
SCORE: 75
Out of all of the Taito Arcade compilations on Evercade I like Taito
Arcade 3 the best. I was shocked at how well the live stream went of
Taito Arcade 3. I am also shocked that I liked so many of the games
within Taito Arcade 3. The games on the Taito Arcade 3 cartridge are
Cadash, Cameltry, Crazy Balloon, Football Champ, Lunar Rescue, Puzzle
Bobble, Qix, The Fairyland Story, and Zookeeper.
Cadash is an action adventure role playing video game where credits give
the player so much time. We can die and come back in that game. Cameltry
is a fun game where we rotate the screen to get the marble to the goal
before the timer expires. There are multiple challenges in Cameltry.
Crazy Balloon is a game where must guide a balloon between these spikes
to the goal area. The balloon in Crazy Balloon is moving in an arc from
left to right. That makes it more challenging.
Football Champ is a soccer video game that I actually enjoyed. First off
I won my first match without any idea what the buttons were. So being
able to win on the first try and not even knowing the controls says a
lot about that game. I had a blast live streaming Football Champ. There
are a couple of games on Taito Arcade 3 that I might actually go back
and play again at some point in the future.
Lunar Rescue on the Taito Arcade 3 cartridge is a really cool idea for a
game that was out there a long time ago. We must land this ship on the
ground for points. We then must shoot our way back up to the mother ship
with a person and rescue them. This idea is executed really well. I had
a lot of fun playing Lunar Rescue. I wish there were newer games
following the ideas in Lunar Rescue.
Puzzle Bobble is an orb shooter where we must match three to make them
go away. Qix is a puzzle game where we must capture seventy-five percent
of the level space while avoiding a major enemy in the middle and two
smaller ones that follow our lines. The Fairyland Story is like a Bubble
Bobble game where we must take out the enemies on the screen to get to a
new screen. Zookeeper is another clever game where we go around the
outside to make walls and keep the animals in. If they get out we can
jump over them.
