I forgot about this show for a while there. It was the last DC Super
Hero show that was done before the mega merger and the new company
wanting to stop the expensive shows. There are ten episodes that make up
Superman & Lois The Fourth and Final Season. Each episode is around the
forty-five minute mark. I am thankful I had the money to buy a copy of
Superman & Lois The Fourth and Final Season on the three DVDs.
I promise to include spoilers for the rest of this review. Superman &
Lois The Fourth and Final Season starts out with Superman fighting
Doomsday in space. Lex Luthor is controlling Doomsday. Lex tells
Doomsday to bring him Superman's heart. Doomsday does this in Superman &
Lois The Fourth and Final Season. Superman is dead. Jordan takes him to
the fortress but they need the heart back to revive Superman. Jordan
tries to retrieve the heart but Luthor stomps it.
Lex Luthor is obsessed with destroying Lois Lane in Superman & Lois The
Fourth and Final Season. There is violence, blood, bad language, lack of
attire, sex outside of marriage, and more in Superman & Lois The Fourth
and Final Season. Kyle and Chrissy almost get married in Superman & Lois
The Fourth and Final Season. Lana and John Henry Irons do get married in
Superman & Lois The Fourth and Final Season.
General Sam Lane injects himself with some serum and his sixty year old
heart is used in Superman's body. That means Superman gets weaker and
starts losing his powers in Superman & Lois The Fourth and Final Season.
Jonathan Kent gets powers in Superman & Lois The Fourth and Final
Season. Jonathan and Jordan work together as a team with their powers.
Clark Kent reveals his secret of being Superman in this show.
Luthor winds up going back to jail and will be the table for Mannheim.
Superman decides he wants to do more than save people at the end of
Superman & Lois The Fourth and Final Season. He helps people and starts
a foundation. Like we don't have enough foundations. At the end of
Superman & Lois The Fourth and Final Season Lois dies (cancer came
back). Clark gets a dog and then later his heart gives way. Then Clark
dies. Superman & Lois The Fourth and Final Season is pretty sad at the
end. Also a major divergent from the comics.
