Superman #881
SCORE: 65
I am thankful I had the $4.99 to purchase a copy of the Superman #881
comic book. The renumbering system for Superman #881 shows it to be
Superman #38. This is the seven volume of this series, meaning it has
been rebooted seven times. There are twenty-one pages of comic book
content within Superman #881. The credit can be found on the first page
with art as well. There are two pages for the Welcome to Metropolis
section.
There are advertisements all throughout the Superman #881 comic book.
The issues families can have with Superman #881 are violence, blood,
lack of attire, enticement to lust, bad language, and more. I make a
solemn vow to include spoilers for the rest of this review. Witchfire
makes her move after CK finishes up at the comic book store. Witchfire
tries to abduct Superboy Prime in Superman #881. It does not go so well
for her.
Superboy Prime is also to hold his own against magic quite well in
Superman #881. Things take an interesting turn there. Witchfire wants to
leave but Superboy Prime offers to help. We find out that someone is
bringing a demon into Metropolis. Witchfire was going to sacrifice CK to
get knowledge as to where it was happening. The two of them go to a
dance club where the magic is strongest in Superman #881.
The pair finds out who is bringing in all of these demons. Superboy
Prime is able to let loose and take out all of these demons. The spell
is reversed and all of these demons are being sucked back into hell.
Superboy Prime and Witchfire almost have a kiss when Superboy Prime is
whisked away from her. He punches a hole in reality in Superman #881.
Can you guess whom is on the other side waiting for Superboy Prime?
Manchester Black is dead and a ghost. Manchester Black wants Superboy
Prime to punch reality really hard and bring him back to the land of the
living. Superboy Prime does not want to do that. I am thinking there
must be some danger involved with doing something like that. Superboy
Prime is then put into a bad situation from what I believe is his past.
Superman #881 is mildly more interesting than the last few. I already
decided to stop reading this series and Superman #881 does not do enough
for me to keep paying five dollars to find out what happens.
