Superman #880

SCORE: 65

Superman #880

I have something very interesting to report concerning Superman #880. The reboot numbering system for this comic book is Superman Vol 7 #37. The interesting thing is the legacy number is printed on the front cover of this comic book. Superman #880 has Superman #879. What is interesting is the last comic book also had Superman #879 on it. I did some research and Superman #880 is the right legacy number for this comic book. Looks like a glitch which might turn out to be worth money in the future.

The cost of the Superman #880 comic book was $4.99. There are twenty-two pages of comic book content within Superman #880. The issues families can have with Superman #880 are violence, blood, bad language, magic, occult, lack of attire, enticement to lust, and more. There are two Welcome to Metropolis pages in Superman #880. There is also the DC Nation Spotlight on Nightwing in Superman #880. Advertisements are here and there within Superman #880.

The credits for Superman #880 are on page two with artwork. I will include spoilers for the rest of this review. Superboy Prime has gone to see Ma and Pa Kent in Superman #880. He is having a nice conversation and eating them out of house and home. A team of Justice League members are watching Superboy Prime while he is at the house of the Kent's. Superboy Prime wants to be called CK in Superman #880.

The Kents have him sit down and tell them about his week. He is having problems with being on time at his job in the comic book store. CK was up for Employee of the Month. He could not be late the next day. So Superboy Prime goes to different places he knows from the comic books like Crime Alley in Gotham. He runs into Robin and helps him stop a bomb and capture Clayface. Superboy Prime blacks out and has another vision of him killing someone.

CK gets back to Metropolis and is late for his job yet again. CK feels like everyone is waiting for him to fail. Martha Kent goes outside and has a short conversation with Power Girl. The Justice League leaves. We then find out this cute girl that was interested in CK at the comic book store is actually some witch that wants to sacrifice him. I may have one more of this series in my pile. After that I am planning on wrapping up my reading of this series.
