Superman #878

I realized a few things after reading the Superman #878 comic book. This comic book has the reboot numbering system of Superman #35. I feel like the legacy numbering system is so much more impressive. The cost of the Superman #878 comic book was $5.99. There is an extra cover that adds one dollar to the price tag. There are twenty-two pages of comic book content within Superman #878.

There is an intro page within Superman #878 after a couple of pages of comic book content. There are two pages welcoming readers to Metropolis. The issues families can have with Superman #878 are violence, blood, bad language, false gods, and more. Advertisements can be found throughout the Superman #878 comic book. I will include spoilers in my review of this comic book.

The majority of Superman #878 is dealing with Superboy Prime, Superwoman, the robot Superman, and Time Trapper. They are dealing with the Legion of Apokolips in this comic book. I loved the part where that Legion lady was in Lois’ head and Lois turned it around on her. Lois discovered that this lady is in love with another member of the Legion.

Superboy Prime is able to beat the Legion and they retreat in Superman #878. Time Trapper is given the message in this comic book. I was not expecting that kind of a message. Time Trapper is ready to go and fight Apokolips now at the end of Superman #878. This comic book wraps up this storyline as well. A new one will be appearing in the next issue.

I thought about no longer reading this comic book after this storyline. I will give the next storyline a bit of a chance going forward. At least for an issue or two. I am not sure I care about the next storyline yet. It is also interesting that Superman has fallen in DC KO. How will that impact this comic book series? I am curious to see where DC Comics goes with this.
