Superman #876

SCORE: 63

Superman #876

The Superman #876 comic book cost me $4.99. There are twenty-two pages of comic book content within Superman #876. The reboot numbering system of Superman #876 shows as Superman #33. There are two intro and credits pages within Superman #876. There are three pages of comic book content before the two intro credits pages. After the comic book content there are two Welcome to Metropolis pages and some advertisements. There is no cover gallery within Superman #876. I did not enjoy Superman #876.

Expect spoilers for the rest of this review of the Superman #876 comic book. The issues families can have with Superman #876 are violence, blood, lack of attire, false gods, and more. There are numerous scenes within Superman #876 where characters are in hell. Superman #876 feels like a fighting game to me. There are two characters that are fighting it out in Superman #876. The characters are Lex Luthor and The Demon.

The Demon kills Luthor in the first round in Superman #876. There is discussion in this comic book that Lex Luthor sold his soul to the devil to get out of hell. The two characters are then allowed to pick their next form. They are in front of a screen where they can pick which versions of themselves they will fight with next. Again this goes right back to a fighting video game for me.

Luthor winds up winning the second round in Superman #876. In fact Luthor claims he let The Demon beat him in the first round. We are given a little bit of time with Superwoman and Superboy Prime. They are uploading information to a robot version of Superman in Superman #876. They plan to give that information to Time trapper. He must know that he is the hero they actually need.

Luthor outsmarts The Demon in the third round and wins in Superman #876. This comic book is what I thought DC KO was going to be. Luthor calls Etrigan to possess him in Superman #876. Then Luthor kills the original host Jason in Superman #876. Gorilla Grodd then contacts Luthor and claims they were betrayed. Booster and Time Trapper are about to fight as it looks like Booster is being controlled by Darkseid.
