Superman #875
SCORE: 68
Superman #875 has the reboot numbering and name of Superman #32. This
comic book cost me $4.99. Superman #875 contains twenty-two pages of
comic book content. After three pages of comic book content there is an
intro page. The credits are on the following page with art and a recap
of what has been going on with this storyline. There are two pages of
Welcome to Metropolis near the back of Superman #875. There is also a DC
Nation Spotlight which is a checklist for DC KO.
Spoilers will be a part of this review moving forward. The issues
families can have with Superman #875 are violence, blood, lack of
attire, enticement to lust, bad language, false gods, and more. Superman
#875 explains to the readers how the super villains were able to escape
the Phantom Zone and get into the tournament. The super villains wanted
the heroes to work with them to save the Earth. Since that did not
happen they decide to get involved personally.
Superman and Lex Luthor have a conversation in Superman #875. It reminds
me of how professional wrestlers talk to one another about an upcoming
match. Superwoman and Superboy Prime are working to get some important
information to Superman and Time Trapper. They must go through some of
the Legion of Darkseid in Superman #875. Superwoman has no idea how much
longer she will have powers again.
There is a shocking moment when Superboy Prime shows up with Superman. I
thought he was in the tournament. Superman #875 does reveal to the
readers that it is not the Superman we know and love. Instead this is a
Superman robot that was made in the past when Superman was not around to
keep the Earth safe. Lois did not miss the powers in Superman #875. She
did miss getting to fight beside Clark.
Superman #875 contains a little bit of humor within it as well. Lex
Luthor and the Joker are an interesting combination in Superman #875. I
know this is the older versions of the characters. Still it is
interesting to hear their banter. Lex Luthor seems to have it all
figured out in Superman #875. I will need to keep reading to find out if
that is actually the case or not. The story continues to keep my
interest.
