I heard about Star Trek Starfleet Academy Season 1 long before we got
a few months of Paramount+. I knew there were all kinds of controversial
and divisive things that were going on in Star Trek Starfleet Academy
Season 1. There are ten episodes that make up Star Trek Starfleet
Academy Season 1. The episodes last from fifty-six minutes to
seventy-five minutes. This takes place after Star Trek Discovery and The
Burn. There will be spoilers in this review.
The issues families can have with Star Trek Starfleet Academy Season 1
are violence, blood, lack of attire, enticement to lust, bad language,
false gods, evolution, sex outside of marriage, sexual deviancy and
more. Star Trek Starfleet Academy Season 1 has been accused of being
woke. There are lessons about how to fight bullies and deal with trauma
in Star Trek Starfleet Academy Season 1. The trauma part feels really
out of touch with Star Trek.
Speaking out of touch with Star Fleet - what is with a Klingon male
wearing a dress? Why emasculate the Klingons so badly? The cadets of
Starfleet are harassed early on by the cadets of the War College. The
two of them have some epic confrontations. The usage of the plants was
quite the prank that could have gotten someone hurt. The cadets must
then deal with the main bad guy. The bad language in Star Trek Starfleet
Academy Season 1 also does not feel like Star Trek.
The head of the academy is also the captain in Star Trek Starfleet
Academy Season 1. She is short, and quite honestly not very
intimidating. In fact she is more like an older mother figure than
anything else. Captain Sisko is honored in Star Trek Starfleet Academy
Season 1. Holograms are also their own race and species in Star Trek
Starfleet Academy Season 1. They send a character to determine if they
can integrate with organics again.
The doctor from Voyager is a teacher in Star Trek Starfleet Academy
Season 1. Tilly makes an appearance in Star Trek Starfleet Academy
Season 1. Jett Reno is a full time teacher in Star Trek Starfleet
Academy Season 1. Betazed becomes an important planet in Star Trek
Starfleet Academy Season 1. They get to house the headquarters for
Starfleet. The Academy is actually a ship that lands in San Francisco.
It can leave and go out into space.
All in all Star Trek Starfleet Academy Season 1 was pretty
underwhelming. Starfleet is shown as the villain in some people's minds.
Starfleet apologizes and tries to make things right. Caleb Mir goes from
hating Starfleet to joining and appreciating. Other characters go on
similar arcs in Star Trek Starfleet Academy Season 1. The daughter of
the admiral was a good one until she tried to change some of her forged
records.
