Speed Racer #9

Speed Racer #9

Things take an interesting turn in Speed Racer #9. This comic book cost me $4.99. There area twenty-two pages of comic book content within Speed Racer #9. There are some advertisements in the back of the Speed Racer #9 comic book. The credits are on the page opposite of the front cover of this comic book. There is a page devoted to the next issue within Speed Racer #9. There is a three page preview for Bludwire #1 in Speed Racer #9. I have no interest in that series.

The back of Speed Racer #9 contains some advertisements. I make this solemn vow now - I will include spoilers for the rest of this review. Speed Racer #9 starts off with Racer X helping the police catch some criminals. They were hopped up on some new V drug that was in a canister in Speed Racer #9. They were angry, aggressive, stronger, and quicker than they should have been. Racer X just got through it.

On the race track Speed Racer is having problems with Mark Meglaton in Speed Racer #9. There is a V canister in the back seat of Mark's car in Speed Racer #9. This is making him really hard to beat. Speed Racer is not capable of making it past Mark in Speed Racer #9 in that first race. Speed Racer uses his saws to hit the engine of another car that has a V canister under the hood. Is that legal in these races?

The canister gets struck and sends out some green gas that Speed Racer inhales. Yes Bill Clinton Speed Racer inhaled. We all think you did too Bill. Speed Racer is given a clean bill of health after that race in Speed Racer #9. We get to the next race but Speed Racer has changed. He is angry, aggressive, and just starts taking out every single car on the track. Speed Racer wins the race, and takes out everyone.

Mark Meglaton gets taken out in Speed Racer #9. Speed is angry and snaps at everyone on his team in Speed Racer #9. Speed then races away near the end of Speed Racer #9. The real ending of Speed Racer #9 is we see that Trixie is telling this story to Racer X. Racer X has some idea what is going on. Racer X plans on trying to get Speed Racer in the next issue. At least I think that is what will happen in the next issue.
