It takes a team to win in things like racing. That message and that
thought really stick with me after reading Speed Racer #10. To be clear
Speed Racer #10 does not outright state this fact. It is a lesson that
is woven throughout this entire comic book. Speed Racer #10 cost me
$4.99. There are twenty-two pages of comic book content within Speed
Racer #10. The credits are found on the back of the front cover of this
comic book.
Speed Racer #10 has a few issues families need to be aware of. These
issues are violence, blood, and more. There is a three page preview for
Mister Nemo #1 in Speed Racer #10. There are some advertisements in the
back of this comic book. I found something odd about Speed Racer #10
after reading it. There is page for the next issue. Speed Racer #10 does
state The Melange Strikes Back is next.
You will discover spoilers if you continue to read this review. Tokage
Kadar is being interviewed at the beginning of Speed Racer #10. The race
is through an active volcano. Speed Racer shows up and threatens Tokage
Kadar. The effects of the gas are still influencing Speed Racer at the
beginning of this comic book. Speed Racer threatens to bury or cremate
Kadar based on what he wants.
Racer X shows up and tries to reason with Speed Racer in Speed Racer
#10. Trixie, Pops, and Spritle are all working to get Speed Racer back
to his normal self. Racer X is out there on the track trying to calm
Speed Racer down in Speed Racer #10. This is where I referenced a whole
team. Speed Racer does come to his sense near the end of Speed Racer
#10. It took all of them combined to reach him though.
Speed Racer and Racer X work together to save the life of Tokage Kadar
in Speed Racer #10. To be fair Speed Racer did cause the damage that
almost killed Kadar in Speed Racer #10. The two of them work together to
save Kadar's life and Speed Racer winds up winning the race. Speed
apologies to a lot of people in Speed Racer #10. Trixie kisses Speed
Racer again in this comic book. Racer X burns down a V-Gas building and
tells them to stay out of it.
