Sonic The Hedgehog #85

My feelings on certain franchises can waffle depending on the content within each of the comic books. Sonic The Hedgehog #85 is a great example of this. Sonic The Hedgehog #85 cost me $4.99. There are twenty pages of comic book content within Sonic The Hedgehog #85. The credits are on the back of the front cover. Then we get a Story So Far Page, and a cast of characters page in Sonic The Hedgehog #85.

After the comic book content within Sonic The Hedgehog #85 we get a page devoted to next month, Sonic Letter Squad, Alternate Covers and IDW View from the Back Page. That last one is about a Godzilla role playing table top game that someone associated with this company wants you to donate money so they can build it. Why don't they pay for the hard work we do that makes them money? The selfishness of companies wanting us to pay them to do something is obscene.

The rest of this review of the Sonic The Hedgehog #85 comic book will contain spoilers. Sonic, Belle, and Sage are trapped in this cave. They are looking around and find some interesting things. Many of the missing robots are found in different parts in Sonic The Hedgehog #85. Sage theorizes that whomever is behind this used those parts to make that device on Metal Sonic's face. They are using it to control Metal Sonic.

Sonic finds some mega creepy things in Sonic The Hedgehog #85. There is a coffin for example. When Sonic opens the coffin he winds up in a room that he is unable to escape in Sonic The Hedgehog #85. Sonic then finds out that his shadow is an entity in this odd room with him in Sonic The Hedgehog #85. Meanwhile Belle and Sage are dealing with Metal Sonic. Is there another way into this cave or did Metal Sonic clear the collapsed entrance?

Belle and Sage are able to deal with Metal Sonic a couple of different ways in Sonic The Hedgehog #85. Metal Sonic is knocked through a wall where he falls on Sonic. The shock ending in Sonic The Hedgehog #85 is related to Metal Sonic and Sage. Metal Sonic grabs Sage and runs off in the darkness. Belle and Sonic are in pursuit at the end of Sonic The Hedgehog #85. The next issue is called A Chase through the Dark.
