Shangri-La Frontier Season One
SCORE: 69
We had a night recently where I had a little time to try another
show. I had seen Shangri-La Frontier Season One advertised on Netflix
and it looked interesting. So I started watching it. Once I had an
opening I finished watching the first season of this show. There are
twenty-five episodes that make up Shangri-La Frontier Season One. The
episodes of Shangri-La Frontier Season One range from twenty-three
minutes to twenty-six minutes. Watch or skip through the credits for
some content at the end.
The issues families can have with Shangri-La Frontier Season One are
violence, blood, lack of attire, enticement to lust, bad language, false
gods, and more. I promise to include spoilers for the rest of this
review. Sunraku (aka Rakuro Hizutome) is a garbage gamer. That means he
plays all of these glitchy games from start to finish. He decides to
play a triple A title - Shangri-La Frontier. He is immediately amazed at
how good this game actually is.
Psyger-0 (Rei Saiga) knows Rakuro in the real world but is a shy girl.
Rei is romantically interested in Rakuro, but he barely knows she
exists. Rei's character Psyger-0 is ultra powerful and could be a good
help to Rakuro. Arthur Pencilgon and Oikatzo know Sunraku through other
garbage games. The three of them work together to take down one of the
Seven Colossi monsters in the game.
Sunraku fought another Colossi and lost in Shangri-La Frontier Season
One. He wound up getting a mark so he could no longer wear armor. It
also unlocked a special quest that got him a new part member - Emul. She
is a bunny that can do some magic. Other players want a bunny companion
as well so Sunraku gets pretty important. Other players hunt him down
for information on that special quest.
There is plenty of gamer humor within Shangri-La Frontier Season One.
The animation is fantastic. The storyline involves Sunraku getting
strong enough to go back after that Colossi Lycagon the Nightslayer that
defeated him. There are also new story elements that opened up after
Wezaemon the Tombguard was defeated in Shangri-La Frontier Season One.
As a gamer Shangri-La Frontier Season One interested me.
