Racer X #5
SCORE: 71
I almost missed an issue of this series when we swapped over to a
different comic book company provider. I am a little surprised we are
working with a company from New York but there are definite reasons for
this change. This comic book cost me $4.99. There are twenty pages of
comic book content within Racer X #5. There is also a five page preview
in this comic book.
The preview in Racer X #5 is for Atmos Exordium 01. There is some
violence and blood in the preview. There is some violent content in
terms of cars and racing in the mainline content of the Racer X #5 comic
book. I promise to include spoilers in the rest of this review. Credits
can be found on the back of the front cover. There is a page devoted to
the next issue as well.
There are two main storylines that are going on in Racer X #5. First off
Racer X is at this building to collect his winnings. It will be a bag
with a lot of money in it. The criminals are waiting to steal the money
from him. The interesting thing is Racer X is sitting in his car outside
playing with some remote control device. The crooks realize he is using
a bagman.
The criminals rush inside to find an old lady carrying a big bag of
money. They think she is there to carry the money to Racer X. Nope they
are wrong. She is there to put it on the ground. The bag has wheels and
races off to Racer X. They then hunt him down and herd him to a location
to kill him. Racer X gets away from them in this comic book.
The second storyline in Racer X #5 involves the main bad guy and
survival. One of the board members is murdered and the racer that lost
is given a choice. This racer can survive or get eaten by a tiger in
Racer X #5. He chooses to live by crawling through a dark tunnel. He is
then ordered to stop failing. What will happen in the next issue?
