Punisher vs The Amazing Spider-Man #1
SCORE: 68
When I heard about Punisher vs The Amazing Spider-Man #1 I knew I had
to check it out. My research shows there will be five issues in this
franchise. I think that is probably a good number for a series like this
one. The Punisher vs The Amazing Spider-Man #1 comic book cost me $4.99.
There are twenty-four pages of comic book content within Punisher vs The
Amazing Spider-Man #1. We get one page of comic book content and then an
intro/credits page.
Near the back of Punisher vs The Amazing Spider-Man #1 is a page devoted
to the next issue. Which looks like one of the covers. There are
advertisements here and there throughout the Punisher vs The Amazing
Spider-Man #1 comic book. The issues families can have with Punisher vs
The Amazing Spider-Man #1 are violence, blood, bad language, and more.
The art is meh at best in parts of Punisher vs The Amazing Spider-Man
#1.
I promise you that the rest of this comic book review will include
spoilers. The Punisher and Spider-Man team up to take down Father Crime
and his syndicate. Along the way the two of them are working on
influencing the other one. The Punisher is using non-lethal rounds in
Punisher vs The Amazing Spider-Man #1. Spidey is considering getting
more disciplined and find a network to provide intelligence.
There are aspects of the characters that annoy one another. For example
Frank Castle is not happy that Spidey keeps talking all of the time.
Spider-Man also gunked up the really expensive scope The Punisher was
using near the beginning of the Punisher vs The Amazing Spider-Man #1
comic book. There is a flashback to The Amazing Spider-Man #129 in
Punisher vs The Amazing Spider-Man #1. Interesting since I recently read
and reviewed the facsimile of that issue.
There are some awkward moments in Punisher vs The Amazing Spider-Man #1.
There are characters referencing the team up like it was some kind of
relationship. Spidey even says at one point he did not even pick out a
dress. I know it is an attempt at humor. At the same time it is weird,
gross and mildly disturbing. Smokeshow is an interesting character in
Punisher vs The Amazing Spider-Man #1.
