Predator versus Planet of the Apes #1

Predator versus Planet of the Apes #1

One thing I must hand to the comic book industry is their crossovers. They keep coming up with interesting ideas. Take this one for instance. I would have never thought of merging these two franchises. Predator versus Planet of the Apes #1 also does some things I was not expecting. The Predator versus Planet of the Apes #1 comic book cost me $5.99. There are twenty-five pages of comic book content within Predator versus Planet of the Apes #1.

The issues families can have with Predator versus Planet of the Apes #1 are violence, blood, lack of attire, bad language and more. The two credits pages are in the back of this comic book. Advertisements can be found here and there within Predator versus Planet of the Apes #1. There are more ads in the back of this comic book than the front.

There is a page devoted to the next issue in this series. I give you my word that the rest of this comic books will contain spoilers. Predator versus Planet of the Apes #1 starts with humans in space in a ship. I felt like this borrowed heavily from Predator versus Aliens. The humans crash down on a strange planet thanks to the Predator attacking them.

Most of the humans die in the crash in Predator versus Planet of the Apes #1. The few that survive do not last long against the Predator. Two talking apes from the original movies from the 60s are investigating the Predator. They are safe since they have no weapons and do not plan on attacking. The Predator comes across apes trying to kill humans.

The Predator takes out the apes easily in Predator versus Planet of the Apes #1. This is what I was expecting. One ape thinks the Predator is an ape in Predator versus Planet of the Apes #1. Ripping off the mask corrects that mistake. Too bad that ape did not live long enough to understand his mistake. Apes, humans, and a predator. The apex predator has arrived.
