Power Rangers Universe #6
SCORE: 65
The last issue I have in this series is Power Rangers Universe #6.
This also just happens to be the last one in this series. This series
was six issues in total. The MSRP on Power Rangers Universe #6 was
$4.99. I got it thirty-five cents off. Initially I thought I got Power
Rangers Universe #6 for thirty-five cents. I looked closer at the
sticker and it says thirty-five cents off. The other two in the series I
purchased were one dollar each.
Power Rangers Universe #6 is not a good deal in my opinion. Why would
earlier issues drop is value so badly but this one did not? There are
twenty-two pages of content within Power Rangers Universe #6. The
credits for Power Rangers Universe #6 are on the back side of the front
cover. There is some violence, and lack of attire issues within Power
Rangers Universe #6. There are some advertisements after the comic book
content.
Spoilers will ooze through the rest of this review. I am not a fan of
the art within Power Rangers Universe #6. I am not big on the lack of
detail and the tones. The bad character has possession of the Black
Ranger in Power Rangers Universe #6. The other Power Rangers decide to
shut the arch down. They do so, but the bad guy comes right back. He is
connected to the arch somehow.
The Power Rangers are trying to get this bad character away from the
Grid. So the next thing they try to do is to permeate the whole planet
with this power the bad guy cannot stand. They do so but sort of lose
their own lives in the process in Power Rangers Universe #6. They are
like energy or something now. The Black Ranger is the only one left of
the team. They call him the Phantom Ranger in Power Rangers Universe #6.
The only interesting or cool part about Power Rangers Universe #6 is the
ending. The Phantom Ranger goes through this portal and winds up face to
face with Zordon. I actually enjoyed that moment because it made me
think this whole series was some kind of a giant prequel. I am used to
Zordon just being a head. So him having a body and being alive makes me
think this happens before all of the Power Rangers I know. I did some
research and it is in a different timeline and a mixture of a follow up
and prequel.
