One World Under Doom #9
SCORE: 65
This is the last issue in this series. One World Under Doom #9 wraps
up just exactly as I expected it to. Marvel gave us nine months of
something interesting. The One World Under Doom #9 comic book cost me
$4.99. There are twenty pages of comic book content within One World
Under Doom #9. There is an Avengers press release page, and two pages
for the intro and credits within One World Under Doom #9. Spoilers will
be a part of this review.
The issues families can have with One World Under Doom #9 are violence,
blood, gore, false gods, and more. Advertisements can be found
throughout the One World Under Doom #9 comic book. Doom realizes
something important in One World Under Doom #9. He messed up. He messed
up big time. Doom also realizes that he loves his goddaughter Valeria.
Doom accidently killed Valeria in the last issue of this series.
Doom goes to whatever he can to try and get Valeria back alive.
Eventually Doom goes to some character in Marvel called Tribunal. This
character grants Doom what he wants but for a price. Can you guess the
price for Doom in One World Under Doom #9? Doom gives up the Sorcerer
Supreme. Doom gives up his rule of Earth. Doom also gives up his life.
Can you guess what Doom gets in exchange?
Valeria is brought back to life in One World Under Doom #9. She is
returned to her parents. Doom is however gone. Doom is now dead in the
Marvel universe of comic books. I find that interesting considering Doom
will be in the MCU movies next. There is a page in One World Under Doom
#9 devoted to a new series coming out - Sorcerer Supreme. The Will of
Doom is another one that will be coming out soon.
There are some interesting pages within One World Under Doom #9. There
are interviews of different people. Some are supportive of Doom and some
are glad to be free of him. The countries go back to how things were and
the open borders are rescinded. Mr. Fantastic thinks Doom made things
worse for the world. Others see the good Doom did. I feel like Marvel
really rushed this. It could have gone on much longer. There are some
aspects of this concept that were not explored.
Part of me feels like some of the speeches made in One World Under Doom
#9 are direct attacks on President Trump. There are elites in the swamps
of corruption that want things the way they have always been. Doom did
some President Trump like things in this series. I feel like this whole
series is the radical extremist far lefts response. The heroes in One
World Under Doom #9 never saw the good Doom did. The heroes falsely
accused Doom of a lot of things. Doom gave up power for the good of
another.
