NeoGeo Arcade 2

I am very thankful I had the money to purchase a copy of the NeoGeo Arcade 2 collection on the Evercade. I actually have all of these games on the ACA NeoGeo Collections but I also have all of the Evercade cartridges so I decided to keep that going. The issues families can have with NeoGeo Arcade 2 are violence, lack of attire, blood, enticement to lust, false gods, magic, and more. The six games on the NeoGeo Arcade 2 cartridge are Garou Mark of the Wolves, Metal Slugs 2. Art of Fighting 2, Crossed Swords, Ninja Commando, and Sengoku 2.

There are two fighting games, two shooters, one brawler, and one action adventure first person role playing game. Crossed Swords is a game I remember seeing pictures of many decades ago. I wanted to play this game so badly when I was much younger. Sadly I never had the money to play Crossed Swords. Now that I got to play Crossed Swords I am a bit disappointed. I will explain that fully. We stand there and move left to right while the enemies come to us. We must wait for them, and a great many times we need to block and then attack. Crossed Swords gets monotonous on NeoGeo Arcade 2 really fast. I always thought from the pictures that we were walking through these different environments.

Ninja Commando on the NeoGeo Arcade 2 cartridge is one of those walking shooters where we walk the character around and shoot things. I love the visuals in that game. Some of the translations show major mistakes. The fighting games are not the greatest to play on a live stream like I did. The main reason is not knowing every single characters moves - which are not intuitive. I also noticed there can be a balance problem with the characters in the fighting games on the NeoGeo Arcade 2 cartridge.

During the live stream where I played all of this games I noticed something about the brawler on NeoGeo Arcade 2. The enemies come in waves just like they do in most shooting games. I wonder if that was by design. If you have an Evercade and like retro arcade games then NeoGeo Arcade 2 might interest you. The down side is there are only six games.
