Mask #3
SCORE: 65
I feel bad for someone that is obviously trying really hard but
flopping, falling, and failing. That is how I feel about Mask #3. I am
also contemplating how much longer I plan on reading this series. I am
watching this series dropping in terms of stock with each issue. The
Mask #3 comic book cost me $3.99. There are twenty pages of comic book
content within Mask #3. The front cover I received has some lack of
attire, and enticement to lust issues. The credits for Mask #3 are on
the back of the front cover.
After the comic book content within Mask #3 there are some
advertisements and a character spotlight page. The cover gallery for
Mask #3 is on the back cover. The issues families can have with Mask #3
are bad language, violence, blood, and more. I vow to include spoilers
for the rest of this review. There is a part at the end of Mask #3 where
the bad guy talks about communing with the dead.
Gloria Baker is underwater and injured quite a bit at the start of Mask
#3. The Mask she is wearing is keeping her alive. Miles Mayhem is above
the water waiting to see if she will surface. She is being guided to the
shore in Mask #3. The black Matt Trakker shows up to attack Miles in
Mask #3. He distracts the man and allows Gloria to get to the shore.
Another bad character shows up to attack Gloria.
Sato shows up to save Gloria in Mask #3. Sato is also injured really bad
in Mask #3. If all of this were not bad enough Matt Trakker is also
injured after taking a fall from the helicopter without a parachute. He
does launch some beam before he lands in Mask #3. It slows the descent a
little bit. The hero team is really beat up in Mask #3. There are two
letter pages in Mask #3 after the comic book content.
Miles Mayhem goes off to commune with the dead in the end of Mask #3.
That still bothers me deeply and greatly. We learn that Baron Karza is
the one helping Miles Mayhem in Mask #3. I had no idea who that was. So
I did a little research while starting this review. Baron Karza is a
major bad character in Micronauts. I guess they are now a part of the
Energon Universe. Or maybe they have been and I was not aware.
