Justice League Red #5
SCORE: 68
I guess the Justice League Red series is more popular than I thought
it would be. Or maybe the local comic book store did not purchase as
many of the third and fourth issues. I realized that I missed a couple
of the issues in this series. I purchased Justice League Red #5 and
hoped to be able to find the others before I read it. Sadly that did not
happen. At this point I may miss those two issues and just move on with
my life.
The Justice League Red #5 comic book cost me $3.99. There are twenty
pages of comic book content within Justice League Red #5. There are two
pages with the intro and credits within Justice League Red #5 after a
couple of pages of comic book content. Advertisements can be found all
throughout the Justice League Red #5 comic book. The issues families can
have with Justice League Red #5 are violence, blood, lack of attire,
enticement to lust, bad language and more.
Spoilers will be a part of this review from here onward. Deadman is on
the team in Justice League Red #5. I learned that from reading this
comic book. Black Adam has taken the team down in the previous issue.
Black Adam is also trying to talk some reason into the heroes. Black
Adam is blaming Red Tornado for what is going on. I like how Black Adam
opens the eyes of the heroes in Justice League Red #5.
Power Girl winds up becoming the leader of the team. I personally think
Cyborg would be a better leader. Deadman explains how Red Tornado made
it where he could be seen and heard by others without possessing them. I
am not a fan of the Deadman character personally. I am also not sure
what he brings to the team. I must have missed that in a previous issue
of this comic book series.
Black Adam admits he is trying to do this ceremony to get power because
of Apokolips being over their heads in Justice League Red #5. Black Adam
also lets the heroes know that something has taken over Red Tornado.
When the team gets back to the moon they find something shocking at the
end of Justice League Red #5. Red Tornado has changed into the Crimson
Cloud in Justice League Red #5.
