Joshua

I am getting such a kick out of reading these Bible based comic books. I noticed that my mood really improves after reading one of these Bible based comic books. Joshua is the latest one to come across my desk. The cost of this comic book was $2.00. There are thirty-two pages of comic books content within Joshua. There are some advertisements in the back of this comic book.

Different people are working on these comic books too. The art in Joshua is fantastic. The credits can be found on the back of the front cover of this comic book. Bible verses can be found on the bottom of the pages in Joshua. There is a bit of lack of attire, and violent content within this comic book. I promise to provide spoilers for the rest of this review.

Joshua has a nice connection to the last comic book. We learn about Moses passing on and Joshua being decided as the next leader. God speaks to Joshua just like he did Moses. Joshua is told to obey God and the instructions that Moses left the people. When the Israelites are obedient they are blessed. When they are disobedient they are punished.

The people are able to cross the Jordan on dry land. Rahab and Jericho are covered in Joshua. I love how the walls came crashing down and came outward in Joshua. The next city that they try and conquer is AI. They fail badly. Do you know why they fail? Achan took some plunder. He and his whole family are killed in Joshua for their disobedience to God.

The point in time when God had the sun stand still in Joshua. God’s promises are covered quite well in Joshua. There are plenty of battles in Joshua. Reading Joshua is very uplifting. I enjoyed my time with this comic book. The death of Joshua is also covered in this comic book. I love the message of being obedient to God in Joshua.
