Gremlin Collection 2
SCORE: 54
I live streamed ail four of the games on the Evercade compilation
cartridge Gremlin Collection 2 on our Twitch channel. I knew two of the
games would most likely not be very good. The four games on the Gremlin
Collection 2 cartridge are Buggy, Hogs of War, Loaded and Re-Loaded.
These were all 32-bit video games. I remember some from the original
PlayStation system.
Buggy is a racing game with different little vehicles. We start in a 3D
environment and must find our way to the save spot, and different races.
Do well enough on a race and you can go to the next race. You just need
to find it. Evercade lets families save wherever so the in game save is
not as important. The controls can be a bit loose in Buggy. I was able
to win frequently.
The next game I played on the Gremlin Collection 2 cartridge was Hogs of
War. The controls in this game reminded me of Tomb Raider. That means
the controls are slow clunky and annoying. I could not even finish the
tutorial in Hogs of War. It was not for the lack of trying either. We
get so many characters and so much time to take them out in 3D turn
based action.
The third game I played on the Gremlin Collection 2 cartridge was
Loaded. I vaguely remember this game from many years ago. Loaded is
bloody and violent. We shoot enemies into blood smears. Played only have
so much ammo but more can be found. Loaded is macabre, morbid, and
spiritually draining to play. I am not a fan of this game.
The last game on the Gremlin Collection 2 cartridge was Re-Loaded. This
is a sequel to Loaded. Re-Loaded is also violent, bloody, and honestly
quite pointless. I do not plan on releasing the videos for Loaded or
Re-Loaded anytime soon. We put them in our Adult Only folder until we
have some plan as to what to do with them. They are definitely not
Family Friendly.
