Gargoyles Demona #5
SCORE: 67
There are so many different comic books that are ending I confused
this one with another one. I thought Gargoyles Demona was done last
issue. I went back to that review and it had a page devoted to Gargoyles
Demona #5. I also noticed that there is not a next issue in Gargoyles
Demona #5. That usually tells me the series is wrapping up. Gargoyles
Demona #5 cost me $4.99. There are twenty-two pages of comic book
content within Gargoyles Demona #5.
The credits for Gargoyles Demona #5 are on the back of the front cover.
There is a bit of violent content within Gargoyles Demona #5. After the
comic book content are some advertisement pages and then the cover
gallery. I will include spoilers in my review of the Gargoyles Demona #5
comic book. Gargoyles Demona #5 takes place in Japan. Demona's daughter
is very old and close to dying.
A Canmore hunts down Demona and attacks in Gargoyles Demona #5. Demona
dispatches this assassin and tries to get back to her daughter. The sad
truth is her daughter is already dead. Demona is very angry that humans
cost her this one last moment with her daughter in Gargoyles Demona #5.
This shows how and why Demona is so angry with humans. The interesting
things is humans fought with Demona too.
There is an angry conversation in Gargoyles Demona #5 about what the
daughter Angelika would want. Demona does not really care since her
daughter is gone. Angelika also wanted Demona to take her grand daughter
with her in Gargoyles Demona #5. That does not happen. Demona cannot
have others to care for anymore. It is too painful for her to watch them
live and die. Demona closes herself off in Gargoyles Demona #5.
The Gargoyles have a wind ceremony in Gargoyles Demona #5. This is how
they honor their dead. The body is burned up and the gargoyles all fly
off in different directions. An odd belief set if I ever read, heard or
seen one before. Demona chooses eternal loneliness in Gargoyles Demona
#5. The comic book is clear that she can make the other choice at any
point in the future. I am unclear if she ever does.
