G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #49

G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #49

I can find no rhyme or reason as to which older issues of G.I. Joe A Real American Hero will be reprinted. They seem to be hopping all over the place. Why not go sequential? Or maybe do certain storylines? I am glad that G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #49 was done. This was a great setup for G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #50. I hope they reprint G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #50 at some point soon.

The G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #49 comic book cost me $3.99. There are twenty-two pages of comic book content within G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #49. The credits can be found on the back of the front cover of the G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #49 comic book. There is a page from Larry Hama about this issue, and some ads in the back. The cover gallery can be found on the back cover of this comic book.

There is some violent content within G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #49. There will be spoilers in my review from here on out. Destro and Dr. Mindbender are robbing tombs of the greatest warriors in time to put them together to make the ultimate soldier. One thing interesting about G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #49 to me is how easily this process works. Serpentor is created in G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #49.

Rip-Cord is impersonating Zartan in G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #49. He lets the Joes know where he is in Springfield. Cobra is in complete control of that town. Serpentor gets born and he immediately shows his worth in G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #49. There are obviously characters that do not trust Serpentor yet. There are certain Cobra agents that will watch Serpentor closely.

I knew from other interviews that Larry Hama did not like Serpentor. He felt it was too science fiction and he wanted more of a soldier story. Yet he let zombies, cybernetics, Revanche, and more into the comic book. So I have to question that. Larry also did not like Crystal Ball, but no issue with Dr. Mindbender. To be honest I felt like Serpentor was awesome. I also felt like Crystal Ball and Dr. Mindbender were worthless characters.
