G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #2
SCORE: 74
The latest reprint of the older G.I. Joe A Real American Hero comic
books is G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #2. In other reprint reviews I
mentioned that I had no clue how they are deciding which older comic
books to reprint. They continue to hop all over the place. The G.I. Joe
A Real American Hero #2 comic book cost me $3.99. There are twenty pages
of comic book content in G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #2.
There will be spoilers in my review of this comic book. The credits can
be found on the back of the front cover of the G.I. Joe A Real American
Hero #2 comic book. There is a page from Larry Hama and some
advertisements after the comic book content. The name of the story in
G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #2 is Panic at the North Pole.
There are four Joes that are brought into a very sticky situation. The
Americans had an outpost in the snow near a Russian base. The Americans
are all found dead. The Joes show up to see an Eskimo Kwinn leaving the
Russian base. Th interesting thing is he leaves the door wide open.
There is a bit of violent content in G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #2.
The Joes fight Kwinn multiple times in G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #2.
Kwinn is a mercenary that keeps to the contract. The Russians were
sending fear waves at the Americans. The Russians got paranoid and
killed the Americans. The Russians were so messed up that they froze to
death in their own base. Kwinn was hired to retrieve the technology and
records.
Kwinn respects the Joes and decides to leave the firing pins four miles
from the Joes and one mile from the Russians that he delivers the
technology and records to. The Joes are trackers and will most likely
get there before the Russians can get to the submarine. G.I. Joe A Real
American Hero #2 has very clever ending to it. I enjoyed this reprint.
