G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #152
SCORE: 70
I go back and forth on some things. At first I was really happy about
the reprint of G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #152. Then on the other
side of the coin I wonder if it would be cheaper to find a copy of the
original. There is also a history given on the Larry Hama page but some
things I am curious about are left out. G.I. Joe A Real American Hero
#152 cost me $3.99. There are sixteen pages of comic book content within
G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #152.
G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #152 also contains six pages of profile
art. The issues families can have with G.I. Joe A Real American Hero
#152 are violence, blood, lack of attire, enticement to lust, and more.
Larry Hama references the controversial and highly divisive evolution
word. The credits for G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #152 can be found on
the back of the front cover. There are a couple of ads near the end of
the G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #152 comic book. The cover gallery is
on the back cover.
Spoilers will be a part of this review going forward. The art looks old
in G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #152. The covers are a bit thicker in
terms of paper width. General Colton is being take for a flight in G.I.
Joe A Real American Hero #152. The General has a flash back and
remembers another mission he had with a flight. The flashback was to
Vietnam in G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #152.
General Colton was fighting with his troops, and took out an ammo depot
of the enemy. By the way he was just a Lieutenant back then. He makes
fake tracks to throw the enemy and then goes to the pick up site. Sadly
for him the chopper gets shot down and one of his team is injured in
G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #152. Colton then gets picked up by a
black helicopter. Colton wants to get the injured trooper to a doctor,
but the pilot has other orders.
Colton eventually gets to Washington DC and meets with the president.
Colton is assigned a new top secret program - G. I. Joe. G.I. Joe A Real
American Hero #152 ties General Colton into the first Joe. This is right
before President Kennedy went to Dallas for a trip. We all know what
happened there. G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #152 has a very
interesting historical tie in that was fascinating to me.
