G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #117
SCORE: 72
Part of me wonders why G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #117 was
released in facsimile format. Another part of me does not really care
since it is another hole I get to plug in the missing issues of this
series. G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #117 cost me $3.99. There are
twenty pages of comic book content within G.I. Joe A Real American Hero
#117.
The credits for G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #117 are found on the
backside of the front cover. The art and paper in G.I. Joe A Real
American Hero #117 feels older. There is a page from Larry Hama that
talks about this issue. I will include spoilers in this review. The
concept in G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #117 is a twenty million dollar
hit on Destro.
I am not clear on what transpired before this issue. I know Cobra
Commander captured Baroness and was trying to get Destro. Billy, Zartan
and Chuckles got Destro out of his castle before it was destroyed. They
are trying to steal helicopter fuel. There is hotel called the
Contintental in G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #117. I believe this was
long before John Wick. Did they copy Larry Hama?
There is a bit of violent content within G.I. Joe A Real American Hero
#117. Compared to lot of the other G.I. Joe A Real American Hero comic
books this one is pretty tame. The cover gallery for G.I. Joe A Real
American Hero #117 is on the back cover. All of these different criminal
groups are looking for Destro. They want to collect on the contract.
G.I. Joe is willing to help Destro in G.I. Joe A Real American Hero
#117. Ninjas are also mobilizing in G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #117.
After reading G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #117 I am very interested in
seeing what happens next. Hint, hint. I will honestly probably forget
that until I have the time and money to fill even more holes in what was
missed in this series.
