G. I. Joe #21

I will openly admit that G. I. Joe #21 is a bit of a let down on
multiple fronts. Let me get the housekeeping out of the way first
though. The back cover contains the cover gallery. The backside of the
front cover of G. I. Joe #21 contains the credits. This comic book cost
me $3.99. There are two letter pages and one page for the character
spotlights.
There is a three page preview for Mask #1 in G. I. Joe #21. I plan on
reading that comic book. I will at least try it out. The issues families
can have with G. I. Joe #21 are violence, blood, promotion of sexual
deviancy and more. The last one is more hinted at, but since I read the
Scarlett series I know what offensive, divisive, and controversial
content was put in.
G. I. Joe #21 pays homage to the original silent mission from the Marvel
series. I will admit this is a downer since there are all these other
silent missions going on. It is getting a bit old. They are becoming a
one trick pony in my personal and professional opinion. I give you my
word that the rest of this review will include spoilers.
The Joes are enroute to bring Scarlett in. She is still with the ninja
clan. Cobra attacks and comes to steal that sword in G. I. Joe #21.
There are plenty of Cobra troopers and some ninjas that die a bloody
death in G. I. Joe #21. Storm Shadow, Jinx, and Scarlett try to stop
Cobra in this comic book. They even get close to hurting Cobra
Commander.
Cobra leaves with the weapon and plenty of destruction in their wake in
G. I. Joe #21. The Joes grab Scarlett and leave with her. The remaining
ninjas are standing. I am unclear if certain characters are dead or
alive at the end of G. I. Joe #21. An example would be Jinx. I am not
sure if Storm Shadow will ever join Cobra after this. It does not seem
very likely to me.
