G. I. Joe #18

Finally an Energon Universe G. I. Joe that is not completely horrible. This is why I keep reading this series. Every so often we get a glimmer of hope. Every so often something decent comes along. This time it is G. I. Joe #18. This comic book cost me $3.99. There are twenty pages of comic book content within G. I. Joe #18. The credits are on the back of the front cover. The cover checklist is on the back cover.

There are two letter pages near the end of G. I. Joe #18. There is also a character spotlight page and some advertisements to round out the G. I. Joe #18 comic book. The tones are really ugly in G. I. Joe #18. The art is not the greatest but not the worst either. Why did Hasbro move it over to this company. It has been a major disappointment thus far. There is some violence and bad language within G. I. Joe #18.

I warn you. Spoilers will be coming. I warned you. Most of G. I. Joe #18 is about Roadblock. The twins over the Crimson Guard want to take Roadblock's food truck and take it all over the country and then all over the world. Roadblock is not interested. Roadblock wants to stay right where he is in Mississippi. The Crimson Guardsmen attack when Roadblock turns the twins down. Honestly the dialogue is pretty bad there. The twins do a horrible job selling it.

The Joes show up and clean up the place and help out Roadblock. There is no recruitment pitch from them in G. I. Joe #18. I assume they will be trying to get Roadblock to join with Rock n Roll dead. We get three pages of Cobra near the end of G. I. Joe #18. The Dreadnocks are there and there is conversation about hiring the people that tried to kill you. Cobra Commander is different in G. I. Joe #18.

Destro pretends to be Cobra Commander's friend in G. I. Joe #18. The interesting thing is Cobra Commander is onto Destro in G. I. Joe #18. Cobra Commander has a recording that shows Destro was partially behind the attack that almost killed Cobra Commander. I wonder what old crome dome is going to do in the near future? I will need to keep reading to find out. There are more of this series in my pile.
