Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection
SCORE: 57
There are different theories on what to do with compilations. One
idea is to go with the lowest common denominator. Another concept is to
go with average. I take both of those into account when reviewing video
games like Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection. This HD Remaster contains
Etrian Odyssey, Etrian Odyssey II, and Etrian Odyssey III. We have
already reviewed the three games when they were on the hand held. Which
make this review a tad bit easier.
The issues families can have with Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection are
violence, magic, bad language, lack of attire, enticement to lust, false
gods, and more. Drawing the maps is even more obnoxious on the Nintendo
Switch than the Nintendo DS or Nintendo 3DS were. Even on the lowest
difficulty setting Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection is challenging. It
can take a long time to grind in Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection.
I purchased a physical copy edition from Play Asia on the Nintendo
Switch. I like having these three hand helds on the Nintendo Switch
where it is much easier to video capture on. I hope more companies do
that in the near future. These three games look better on the Nintendo
Switch than they did the hand helds. The music is okay to listen to. I
could understand someone muting the music in Etrian Odyssey Origins
Collection to listen to their own.
Players must create characters, and set up a team to go adventuring in
the dungeon. The dungeons in Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection are done
in the first person. There is a gauge to let you know how close you are
to a monster encounter. Fight the monsters and take them down. There are
all kinds of items earned from battles. Those are used to make better
weapons and armor in Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection.
There are really strong monsters that are a pain to take down in Etrian
Odyssey Origins Collection. Players can run from them. Be careful
because if you get caught in a regular monster battle the big ones can
catch up and join the battle. There are different missions to go on in
Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection. There are characters in the towns and
in the dungeons in Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection. I hope they do
another one of these because there are more Etrian Odyssey video games
that were released.
