DuckTales #10
SCORE: 77
The DuckTales #10 comic book cost me $4.99. There are twenty-two
pages of comic book content within DuckTales #10. The credits can be
found on the back of the front cover and the first page of the DuckTales
#10 comic book. The first page also has a lot of art within it. There is
a page devoted to the next issue. Advertisements follow that, and the
cover gallery rounds things out. Spoilers will be a part of this review.
DuckTales #10 is one of the best DuckTales comic books I have read from
Dynamite. DuckTales #10 covers the all important Christmas season. The
nephews are trying to find the perfect gift for Scrooge McDuck. In fact
all of these different characters are trying to find something for
Scrooge McDuck in DuckTales #10. The snow is falling and all these
different characters have different ideas in DuckTales #10.
The nephews realize that Scrooge owns many of the stores in the town.
There is a bit of humor within DuckTales #10. I love how DuckTales #10
references Christmas multiple times. DuckTales #10 also teaches that
lesson that it is better to give than to receive. I love how that lesson
is drilled into readers in DuckTales #10. The whole point of DuckTales
#10 is finding something for Scrooge McDuck.
What does Scrooge McDuck like? The answer in DuckTales #10 is cold hard
cash. I also know that Scrooge McDuck loves his family. In fact family
is a big deal to Scrooge McDuck. DuckTales #10 does not really bring
that up. I like how Gizmo tried to steal this star off of a Christmas
tree in town but wound up getting it put right back where he got it
from. The towns people celebrate him for saving the star. Even though he
messed it up in the first place.
The nephews finally find what they are looking for in DuckTales #10. The
nephews make a card for Scrooge McDuck. The thought is what really
counts and DuckTales #10 lets readers know that as well. I know the
heart felt gifts are always better than something expensive or fancy. It
is neat to see some thought went into the gift the nephews provided. I
am sure Scrooge McDuck appreciates that gift.
