Donkey Kong Bananza

A massively huge shout out to everyone that came by my live streams of Donkey Kong Bananza. I had some fun this Nintendo Switch 2 video game. It took me around eleven hours to beat Donkey Kong Bananza. I did not go and check out all of the different side quests. There are things families can do after beating Donkey Kong Bananza as well. There is even a little carving 3D images out of a rock mini game in Donkey Kong Bananza.

Donkey Kong Bananza looks really nice. The fur on DK is fantastic looking. DK runs across a thirteen year old Pauline. Her singing is a key game play mechanic in Donkey Kong Bananza. Players use her to unlock things and areas. DK earns new skills from these elders. So we can become a stronger ape, snake, zebra, elephant, and more. The zebra can run fast and make it across fragile platforms in Donkey Kong Bananza. The elephant form can suck up objects, and then be able to throw things. Spoilers are coming.

A key game play mechanic in Donkey Kong Bananza is the destructible environments as we are working our way to the planet core. We fight certain enemies on our way to the planet core in Donkey Kong Bananza. Near the end we free King K. Rool and need to fight him for the Banandium Root. This root will grant anyone their wish. It takes Pauline back to the surface near the end of the game. Collecting gold is extremely important in Donkey Kong Bananza. Gold is needed to be able to progress near the end of the game as well. The only way to get through certain areas is to pay off certain characters.

Donkey Kong Bananza has a bit of violent content as we fight different enemies. There are fight zones where we must fight the enemies to progress. We earn bananas as we complete objectives and get through certain areas in Donkey Kong Bananza. Get five bananas and you get a skill point. The skill points will make DK much more powerful in a plethora of ways.

I am torn on Donkey Kong Bananza. Parts of the game I loved and enjoyed. I loved the game showing me where to go. At times that was broken though. I felt like certain parts (like the end) dragged on in this game. Then I saw the entire play time and felt like it was too short for the seventy dollar price tag.
